Summer is here and the sun is out. There is nothing more motivating than getting outside to enjoy the sun as you exercise your way to beach body hotness!

As we begin this summer and we analyse our individual personal goals it is very important to not get overwhelmed or frustrated. As discussed in the January blog New Year New You setting small goals and writing a plan will get you to your goals faster. There are so many simple things we can do outside to keep us fit and healthy. From jogging to your favourite music, stair runs, push ups, pull ups; to sit ups, lunges and squats just to name a few. The monkey bars at the park are not just for kids; they provide a great workout station for a full body routine. Combine this with cardiovascular intervals and you have yourself a substantial workout. It’s all about a series of good decisions and making fitness a lifestyle rather than a chore.

It’s a lot easier than you think. All you need is 30-40mins, 3 or 4 times a week. Coupled with the right meal plan you will soon see yourself on the way to the body you want and a healthier lifestyle. Training with a friend or small group will also make the time go even faster.
