STRENGTH: TOTAL BODY WELLBEING
MOBILITY / CONDITIONING / CORE STABILITY
You don’t need to smash yourself in the gym or lift super heavy weights to be in great shape. In fact, overtraining can become counterproductive and cause injury and fatigue. Unfortunately modern day trends and social media will have you thinking that every workout needs to be super high intensity and leave you absolutely wrecked and sore for days, but this is simply not true.
Moderate and consistent strength training with a focus on functional movement and mobility can be done with a variety of minimal equipment and bodyweight exercises and will deliver far greater and longer lasting results. Mark’s workouts prioritise safety and effectiveness in a low-impact class that will challenge a beginner all the way through to even the fittest athlete.
The unique combination of mobility, strength conditioning, cardio and restorative exercises take a scientific approach towards each and every workout with a focus on the exercise, reps and sets, NOT the music. By utilising a time-frame based, three-set system, we prime our body with mobility drills to achieve a more productive and safe workout set, before finishing with restorative postures to leave the body stress free.
Because the choreography element is removed from STRENGTH® Total Body Wellbeing participants have the ability to work to their own goals and not be restricted by the music, or needing to “keep in time”. This means both male and female participants can maximise their results due to the ease of self adaptability. Throughout our lifespan, maintaining lean muscle and mobility will be the key factor in living and long, healthy and active life. STRENGTH® Total Body Wellbeing will leave participants feeling lean, strong and athletic.
